Blessings this January 2010

During the first week of this year, Bangon Pilipinas’ 3-day strategic planning took place in Clark, Pampanga. I was so happy we met with the Bangon Pilipinas executive committee— all our coordinators from the regional, provincial and barangay levels. They reported that the response of the people to BP candidates is very heartening and enthusiastic. A lot of supporters of Bro. Eddie expressed willingness to support the whole slate even with their own resources.

During the heat of the planning, we took time out to attend the 30th wedding anniversary of Execomm Member Bishop Dan Balais of the Intecessors for the Philippines. Bro. Eddie, Bishop Dan, Pastor Ed De Guzman, Bishop Leo Alconga, Wyden King and I even belted out “How Great Thou Art” like the great Italian tenors. Haha

Bro Eddie Villanueva and the Bangon Pilipinas slate was also endorsed by the Pentecostal Church of Christ Fourth watch in their cathedral in Marikina. It was led by Apostle Arsenio Ferriols. This endorsement was made official in their International Missionary Day in Luneta which I share with you later =)

Then, we visited Davao, Cebu, and Baguio. The response of the people was very enthusiastic especially in our campus tours where students are really clamouring for change. Mindanao Nat’l Transformation Movement where some 50 NGO’s and other parties expressed support for Bangon Pilipinas, including Sultanate of Sulu.

The Regional Christian Leaders Summit shown below was sponsored by Jesus Heart of Missions Ministry led by Bishop Dante Veluz.

Here is a picture in Davao with my wife Judy wearing green, and Arlene, producer of Diyos at Bayan.

The students were very enthusiastic and excited in the university of mindanao.

Bangon Pilipinas National Coordinators in Mindanao:

The proclamation of the endorsement of the Pentecostal Church of Christ Fourth watch was overwhelming. More than a million of their members came to Luneta and they showed their support.

In Baguio:

Returning to Quezon City, the downpouring of the Holy Spirit was amazing this morning at the PJM Tower with Prophet Sharmaine and bro Alexander from Australia and Sis Grace and pastor Noel and all the other church members.

Meanwhile, the welcome of my fellow Sebastinians in our Grand Alumni Homecoming was very warm. I was able to see my old professors and classmates. Felt nostalgic, happy and proud to be a Sebastinian. Bravo Baste!

Here is another photo in San Sebastian:

The grace of God is moving everywhere, all the time. All praises to Him! I will share more of my experiences as this month ends. I hope to visit and meet more of our fellow Filipinos in the days to come =)
